Meet Hope – Our entry for the Oxtrail.

Hope gets her name from Hinksey (our mascot), O for Oak, P for Pine and E for Elm. She is decorated with a self portrait from every member of our school. Thank you to Ms Potier for organising and painting our ox.

Steph from Relax Kids came to teach some of our younger children the power of mindfulness and tuning in to our feelings this week. The children loved it!

Woodpecker Class

Autumn term displays from Woodpecker Class showcasing some of the work from our “Earth Matters” topic. The work includes: Rainforest stories, Recounts of Liberation, Persuasive posters, Still-Life Art, a collaborative collage to show the layers of a Rainforest and the Science work on Jane Goodall and David Attenborough together with pastel drawings of our solar system. 

Dove Class

We have been learning all about Stone Age to Iron Age. We have found out about housing, food, farming, religion and technology. We have made jewellery, weapons and miniature versions of Stonehenge.
