Dress Code Guidelines
Our dress code is designed to promote a positive learning environment and ensure that all children are dressed suitably for school activities.
- General Clothing:
- Children should wear clothing that is comfortable, practical, and suitable for a school environment.
- Outfits must be free from offensive graphics, language, or imagery, and should be age-appropriate.
- Footwear:
- Children should wear sensible shoes that are appropriate for school activities.
- Trainers are acceptable but should be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Hair:
- Once it reaches the shoulders, hair must be tied up and secured neatly to promote safety and hygiene during school activities.
- Weather-Appropriate Attire:
- In colder months, children are encouraged to wear layers, including jumpers or jackets. Please note that children will still have playtime and go on trips in the rain.
- Accessories:
- Hair accessories should be simple and not overly distracting.
- Jewellery should be minimal and not pose a safety risk. Small stud earrings and watches are acceptable.
- Physical Education (PE):
- For PE lessons, children should come to school wearing comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity, such as t-shirts and shorts or tracksuits, along with appropriate footwear.
- Labelling:
- Parents are encouraged to label clothing items to help prevent loss.
We appreciate your support in helping children dress appropriately for school, fostering a respectful and focused learning environment.
